When I first started my website development journey, I didn’t know where to begin when it came to choosing a web host. I’ve tried out several web hosting platforms over the years, but Cloudways has quickly become my favorite.
One of the things I hate most about web hosting companies is when they overcharge for their services or outright rip people off. I’m happy to say that Cloudways is not one of these companies. Their pricing is straightforward, affordable, and upfront. Additionally, their managed ecosystem works incredibly well with WordPress websites, which is how I primarily use Cloudways. The free auto-renewing SSL and the safe updates feature are also great perks that take a lot of the stress out of managing a WordPress website.
But no company is perfect, and Cloudways is no exception. The customer service team has always been very helpful, but I do have one major issue with them – they will swiftly delete your website if you don’t pay your bill. This can happen for a variety of reasons – credit cards can expire, get closed, run out of money, etc. – and it’s something to be aware of.
In my opinion, Cloudways should save websites for a longer period than just a few days. I’ve known people who have lost their website due to this policy, and it’s not a pleasant experience. But, I have to say, I’ve been lucky enough to never have this happen to me.
This is the first ever affiliate link I’ve ever shared on the internet and that’s because I stand behind Cloudways and their services. If you need help setting up a Cloudways account, just use the contact form on my website to reach out. I’m more than happy to help.
